1.) You must first make sure your device
(laptop, hand-held device, etc) detects and connects to the wireless network. To
do this: right click the icon for the Wireless Signal in your system tray (area
where the computer clock is). See Illustration 1. A menu will pop-up choose
View Available Wireless Networks.
Illustration 1: 2.) After clicking, View Available
Wireless Networks, you should see the following window (see Illustration
2). This will list the name of our Wireless Network, called GreenCastle-Wireless,
click Connect in the bottom right hand corner.
Illustration 2 3.) After clicking Connect, your
device will attempt to acquire a network address (see Illustration 3) and then,
if successful, it will connect to the wireless network (see Illustration 4).

Illustration 4 4.) Once connected, open your Internet
Explorer or Firefox browser. You will get the following prompt (see Illustration
5). You will have to click Yes in order to proceed. Please note that
this will occur every time you connect to the Wireless Network.
Illustration 5 5.) You will be prompted to login in order to
access the wireless network. On this screen use your Greencastle Wireless
username and password. It's the same information that you use to access your
E-mail and PeopleSoft accounts.
6.) A successful login will get you onto the
wireless network. The login could take anywhere from 10 seconds to 1 minute
to check your credentials - depending on network usage. Once you are
successfully logged in, a window will pop-up (see Illustration 7). Simply
minimize this window or close it, but DO NOT
click Log Out. Clicking Log Out will end your wireless
session.
